Daniel Dye is a 21-year-old racer from Daytona Beach, Florida. In 2026, Dye will return to the NASCAR® Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) driving a Ram 1500 with Kaulig Racing, the anchor factory team for Ram truck’s highly anticipated reentry into NASCAR.
Dye’s racing journey began close to home at New Smyrna Speedway, where he got his start in quarter midgets before quickly moving into pro late and super late models, initially driving for Ben Kennedy Racing. After success in late model competition, he advanced to the ARCA Menards Series with Ben Kennedy Racing and later GMS Racing, earning a breakthrough victory at Berlin Raceway.
In 2022, Dye ran full-time in ARCA for GMS Racing in the No. 43 car, finishing second in the championship standings and capturing Rookie of the Year honors. That performance springboarded him into the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, first with GMS Racing in 2023 and then with McAnally-Hilgemann Racing in 2024, where he made the playoffs and finished 10th in points. He added select NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) starts with Kaulig Racing in 2024 before stepping up to a full-time NXS campaign with the team in 2025 as a Sunoco Rookie.
Dye was named the 2025 Comcast Community Champion of the Year, honoring his commitment to using his NASCAR platform to create meaningful change through his nonprofit, Race to Stop Suicide. The organization focuses on breaking the stigma around mental health and delivering hope, awareness, and resources to individuals, families and communities across the country.
