Durability
Ram trucks are designed to maximize vehicle uptime for more hours on the job. In fact, theyre subjected to the most punishing environments and terrain on the planet before they get to your driveway.
We put Ram Heavy Duty trucks through grueling trials that range from 120°F deserts to -20°F arctic climates. You can name the challenge from towing in the mountains, to running for a week without stopping.
Cummins® Turbo Diesel engine-equipped Ram Heavy Duty trucks have long oil change intervals of up to 7,500 miles (depending on driving habits and conditions) and all Heavy Duty models feature durable, corrosion-resistant hydroformed frames. So rest assured - Ram is ready to work for you for years to come.
Long Lasting, Most Durable

- "No DEF" Defined

RAM HD trucks use the exclusive NAC (NOx Adsorber Catalyst) system, which meets the EPA requirement for diesel emissions without the use of Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) or a separate DEF tank. Instead of a system that requires periodic refilling of DEF, the Cummins® Turbo Diesel engine found in Ram HD trucks uses a single NOx catalytic converter to automatically filter harmful Nitrogen Oxides from the exhaust.
So when you tip your hat to a Ram Heavy Duty truck, you're saying "so-long" to the extra time and dollars that you'd spend refilling an extra tank with DEF. Because when you're working hard to save, it's great when your truck can help carry the load.
- Warranty

All 2012 Ram Heavy Duty engines and transmissions are protected by a 5-Year / 100,00-Mile Powertrain Limited Warranty+.
